Code of Conduct

R.O.L.L. : Respect, Order, Leadership, Love

RESPECT

1 Peter 2:17 (NLT)
Respect everyone, and love the family of believers. Fear God, and respect the King.

We have a high regard and reverence for God and His Word first and foremost. In living a life that honors God and applies what is taught in the Bible; we will show careful consideration for people, property and authority.

ORDER

1 Corinthians 14:33a (NLT)
For God is not a God of disorder but a God of peace.

Martial arts provides a very structured training system and methodology for teaching various techniques and drills. Through set parameters, rules and clear goals a person can begin to understand the importance of discipline and diligence. This also helps to create an environment that promotes safety and unity within the team. The structures and systems that are in place aid in demonstrating respect for one another as well as the things God has given us.

LEADERSHIP

Matthew 20:26 - 28 (NLT)
But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Jesus is our leader and as such we model our lives after Him– living righteously, humbly, and boldly for God. Leadership character building requires devotion to humbly walk in the Lord’s wisdom, with a servant-like heart and desire to see other’s succeed.

LOVE

1 Corinthians 13:4 - 7 (NLT)
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

God is love and He did the ultimate demonstration of love: God showed how much he loved us by
sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. 1 John 4:9-11 (NLT) By knowing God, He shows us how and helps us to love others. We love because God first loved us.
