New Creation Ministries is founded on God, who changes lives and has given us a guide (The Bible) for living a full life. Our program is dedicated to the spiritual growth and moral character building of each individual that participates in NCJJ. Our approach to Jiu Jitsu is to be diligent and disciplined in our spiritual strengthening and physical training. Both disciplines work hand in hand and Jiu Jitsu is a platform to share Jesus with others. We offer bible devotions before class and a bi-weekly bible study on a separate day. We believe the word of God builds our relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or BJJ (also written as jujitsu or jujutsu) is a martial art of Japanese origin in which one essentially uses levers, torsions and pressure in order to take one’s opponent to the ground and dominate them. Literally, jū in Japanese means ‘gentleness,’ and jutsu means ‘art,’ ‘technique.’ Hence the literal translation by which it’s also known, the ‘gentle art.’
